The 3 deadly weapons (in term sheets) that Kill Entrepreneurs..
Rodinhood’s comment was that if VC means Venture Capital, it should remain Venture Capital and not Vampire Capital. Hence, the fair multiple was 1x of the principal back and NOT 2x or 3x etc, etc, in favor of the VCs. 1x ensured return of Capital and nothing more if the Company was sold in extraneous circumstances. Abhimanyu ( A warrior in Indian folklore) heard his father telling his mother about a deadly maze like military technique while he was an unborn baby in his mothers womb. He subconsciously lern how to enter that formation but not how to exit it since his mother fell asleep. He died as a consequence. Way back in 1997, I read an article about sixdegrees.com in The Economist. I was a socks manufacturer then and chuckled at the thought that everyone in the world is connected to each other by six degrees. I remember thinking ‘I wonder if I can connect with Bill Clinton via six people’. ………
When I heard of gmail a few years back, I sneered and said ‘C’mon Google, don’t be crazy’. I never understood that Google had actually spotted invisible potholes in the path of how I was using E-Mail then, and was actually filling them up for me!
